  28. cracktastic said: for me the best example of this was the scene when steve blows up the plane. it didn’t rush. there was 30 seconds of just steve pondering, gathering courage, saying goodbye, and finally shooting the gun. in the middle of the 3rd act peak, it paused. that’s a movie that cares about its characters
