literally my favourite part of the tolkien movies is how everyone would literally die for the hobbits. legolas? was ready to follow sam and frodo without hesitation when they left. aragorn? would have followed frodo into mordor and made sure the world know of the hobbits role in the destruction of sauron. boromir? taught merry and pip to fight and LITERALLY died for them. the dwarves? bilbos in their gang now, he gets a friendship bracelet and a sword. we are all would die for hobbits
