being part of the d&d fandom is wild because the vast majority of folks are just here to be gay and do crimes but then there’s that little corner that consists of greasy-fingered Mountain Dew guzzlers whose sole purpose in life is to tell you that you’re wrong

gamora and peter trying to share a bed but it keeps getting thwarted by their weird PTSD sleeping rituals

• peter has to listen to music in order to not be super anxious but gamora panics if she can’t hear everything in case something’s a threat
  
• peter needs the door locked so no one can get in but gamora needs to know that she has a way out 
• “the vents are there for a reason, gamora!”
  
• “i’m not getting in a vent, peter.”
  
• gamora sleeps curled up as tight as she can but peter sprawls out and moves all over the place
• they both have nightmares and sometimes when someone wakes up in the middle of the night screaming, that causes the other person to think they’re being attacked and leads to the first person getting punched and/or shoved out of bed
• for a while, gamora wakes up and doesn’t remember where she is and it’s Bad
• somehow peter figures out that he sleeps better when gamora is practically laying on top of him but gamora panics when peter tries to do the same thing to her
• they can really only agree that they both need their backs to a wall
• eventually they compromise by gamora being the big spoon and holding onto peter as tightly as she can so they both have their back to the wall and peter gets some deep pressure
