cryptid-wendigo:

This photo was taken on August 25th, 2017, in Ujung Kulon National Park in Indonesia. It is thought to be showing the Javan Tiger - a species of big cat that went extinct in the mid 1970s. A park ranger took this photo when he noticed the animal did not appear to be one of the big cats that is known to roam the conservation area.  The Director of Conservation and Natural Resources of Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry remarked that the animal’s markings are that of a Javan Tiger, but its size and posture is more like a Sumartan Leopard. The Director, Wiratno, does believe that Javan Tigers could have survived on the property.
