I thought he was sweet in this scene.  He was trying to be nice to her, even though she wasn’t the fabulous babe in the silver catsuit yet.  B’Elanna told Seven to shut up and was clearly hostile, but Harry was trying to be friendly.  

I mean, it’s not like it’s easy to make conversation with a Borg drone.
