B-roll of Hermann and Newton running to informΒ LOCCENT about the true nature of the breach
So we can assume that this happened right after they get off the helicopter. They both run into the Shatterdome separately with Newton ahead. At some point Newt noticed Hermann was lagging behind so he turned around, waited for him to catch up then ran with him the rest of the way like this.
