I’m always puzzled by people who feel they have to send hate to get a power rush. Who feel they have to inflict pain to be strong.
You know what feels really powerful?
Helping.
Sending anon love to someone and watching them squirm in delight, blushing at the praise. Doing or saying something nice for a stranger and knowing that because of you, they’ll be smiling long after you’ve left. Helping a charitable cause and knowing that your contribution and effort will help change someone’s life on a profound level.
That’s power.
That’s strength.
Sitting behind a computer screen and sending shitty words to try to provoke a rise out of people?
That’s the opposite.
