i will never apologize for my love of lgbt people and culture, or for my enmity toward those who would water us down or whitewash us, who would package us up and sell us, who would hide our sexiness, our loudness, our rebelliousness, our rough edges, our scary, obscene desires, our unrespectable lives, who would tame us in the name of the children, in the name of the state, in the name of order and decency, in the name of “quality of life,” in the name of god. i will never apologize for any of us again.
