This is a general thing that seems to happen in every fandom, but it never ceases to amaze me how folks will say that the reason there’s not much fic or art or meta for some characters of color is because there isn’t much about them in canon or they’re boring but the same people can find a way to produce tons of content for white characters that had one line or ship two white characters who have never interacted or hate each other. Who is deemed worth exploring and who isn’t is quite telling.
