hey casual reminder that life imitates art and nana visitor had been reluctant to take the role of kira because her agent warned her against taking a role in a syndicated television series, but, come the last days of filming the series’ finale, she was the cast member who couldn’t keep it together and kept crying between takes, saying she’d always felt like a “gypsy” in her professional life, drifting from one acting job to the next, but that deep space nine had finally felt like home to her and that she was going to miss it dearly and was sad to see it go.
