A small Frodo drawing as a warm up today… I’m pretty surprised that I have never drawn Frodo before! I think, out of all the characters of Tolkien’s works, he’s the character I get the most emotional about (which is extra impressive since I’m rarely super emotional about characters). 

And for those of you who know the Silmarillion, while I’m not totally against the theory that Yavanna made the hobbits, I’m much more in love with the idea that she didn’t. I think it’s so incredible to think, instead, that a little hobbit from a race not created by Eru or the Ainur was the one who was able to finally put an end to Sauron and, by extension, all the evil wrought by Melkor. *u*
