Listen tho. Not to b someone who Enjoys fan fiction but all this movie will do is solidify general opinion that fan fiction writing is Bad and Stupid and For Silly People. Like there are some genuinely good fics out there that would make a decent movie!! But the fact that they've chosen that heap of problematic shit to make a movie out of is condemning fan fiction writer who put effort into their work, and were only just getting due recognition in the internet age.
