hello all. i am a disabled Afro-Indigenous mobility aid user. i recently came to realize that a walker/cane won’t cut it for me anymore as my job requires a lot of walking and i have to take the bus everywhere. i started trying out mobility scooters at the grocery store and realized that they actually work quite well for me!
so this is where y'all come in. i need help raising money for a (probably) used mobility scooter. i found a few on fb marketplace for about 800 and a few new ones for just a bit more than that. so i made a money pool on p@yp@l to help me.
my goal is $1,100. meeting it would mean so much for me as well as allow me to go more places and do more things.
