hey guys it’s garth- maybe we’re mutuals, maybe you’ve seen my posts around, maybe you like my art.

a few days ago the phone i’ve had since 2016 was dropped and stopped working. obviously i don’t have to describe why someone would need a new phone, but just in case you do, i’m going to university in a new city on the 4th. having a phone keeps me in contact with my family and my peers, but even more importantly, i will not be living on campus and i need my phone to help me navigate the city’s transit system.

luckily, i did have savings i could use and i’ve already purchased the phone- i don’t need anything super intensive, so i was able to purchase a budget model for about less than 500$! unfortunately, that money was supposed to be for things like paying rent, groceries, and my school supplies. if i can’t replace that money i’ll struggle during the school year.

my goal is going to be 450$.
