genuinely can’t understand how it was considered a “punishment” when the gods turned people into trees or gave them horns or snakes for hair or whatever when they pissed them off like if i’m being honest that sounds ideal
any easily offended gods want to give me a pair of antlers or turn me into a fruit tree? i am very stupid and full of so much hubris if that helps
