me, wide awake at 3am: i just had the best idea for a horror movie
concept: the movie is eight hours of me thinking i hear noises and turning my lamp on for extended periods of time. monsters with increasingly frightening appearances materialize in my doorway. i make out with one of them. however, they are all illusions. at the end of the movie, it is revealed that the noise was just a bug trying to get out of the curtains. by that time the audience is numb to fear, rendering all other horror movies pointless. this is peak horror and a galaxy brain concept. do not argue with it.
