i don’t really pay attention to the ‘trends’ on here, i just post whatever i’m currently interested in and occasionally jump on the bandwagon when it matches those interests. i might sometimes be one of the first semipopular users on this site to get into something that then becomes a mainstream trend soon after, making it look like i “led the charge” as you put it, and having a lot of followers means that some people will inevitably get into something that’s trending because i shared it with them, but i really don’t think i’m actually influencing this site’s collective consciousness that much.
