she does! there’s leah, a prophet who has rejected god (and everyone else), and peter, a trans history major. leah ends up being worm’s girlfriend.

(i made em on artmiiraux’s picrew)
she’s kinda chill about it as a kid because she doesn’t really understand how being considered a sin against creation itself by all your relatives (except her parents) is a bad thing, but the older she gets the more she begins to realize that she doesn’t and will never fit in anywhere or be liked and trusted by anyone and starts to resent it.
thordyshe does go to school but she gets picked on because she looks and acts weird and she ends up getting taken out again after less than a month because she psychically attacked another kid who’d been bullying her and was trying to provoke her by killing bugs in front of her (which she really hates) (also the other kid isn’t permanently harmed by it but he gets a pretty nasty shock). after that she’s homeschooled.
i need you to understand that this is in the context of the dumb au i have where they were lovers before the fall and after armageddidn’t took some time out of office due to growing uncertainty of their ability to lead effectively and rebellious sentiments from their colleagues as a result and ended up spending time together on earth and regained their forgotten memories of one another while also getting in touch with their feelings just a little bit, so they’re more than a bit ooc compared to their canon counterparts but a bitch can self indulge!
i actually think that they’d probably be like… decent parents? like they’re both very dedicated to their jobs and surprisingly responsible in comparison to their coworkers, and i think that if they did have a kid they’d a) actually love her because she’s their own creation and how she turns out will reflect their actions, and so want the best for her and b) want to prove that they’re superior to any regular mortal by being better at everything. so they’d genuinely try to bring up a decent person.
i also think their ideas of what constitutes a ‘good’ person would differ quite a bit, however, since they’re an angel and demon with some very different values, although they’d manage to compromise on some things, like the fact that their kid should be encouraged to learn a lot and have access to any knowledge she wants, and that she should feel appreciated and be rewarded for her achievements. i hc that neither of them feel particularly loved by god (although in different ways), and kind of resent that, and so wouldn’t want their own child to feel abandoned and uncertain in that way.
i think that beelzebub would initially be more confident in their daughter’s abilities and less overprotective, while gabriel would be more paralysed by uncertainty. like, “what if i accidentally hold her too tightly and hurt her?” or “why is she crying? is she in pain?” and just generally freak out about every tiny little thing, until beelzebub is like “stop worrying and just pick her up you idiot. she’s half demon. we’re tough to break.” after that he’d be the more tactile parent, since angels are less cagey about physical contact. beelz doesn’t ignore her, but they’re less likely to initiate contact with her, because they’re not used to needing physical intimacy on a regular basis to function well and develop a strong relationship with someone. so they’re a bit more awkward about it.
they’d both be quite pushy parents, although not ignorant of their kid’s limits. i think they’d probably spoil her a bit too, because they’re not really sure what kids need, so they’d go a bit overboard trying to ensure she isn’t missing out on anything essential for her to be happy and successful. i think they’d both be very proud of her.
their greatest flaw as parents would probably be that they’re trying so hard to be perfect at it that they sometimes ignore the fact that they don’t need to be, and that their kid might feel a bit under pressure to also be perfect in order to ‘deserve’ and ‘show gratitude’ for all the time and effort they’ve invested in her. also their conflicting ideas regarding some areas of morality and allegiances would increasingly leave their kid feeling torn in two opposite directions between two people she’s very attached to and who are some of the most formative influences in their life. they’d also probably fail to understand why their kid needs to be able to interact with others her own age, and therefore not understand why she’s so upset that other children find her strange and difficult to relate to because she’s smarter and more emotionally mature for her age and behaves slightly oddly because she’s not human and has no human relatives or friends to take example from.
ultimately though they would both love her! and if it came to a choice between defending her or showing loyalty to heaven/hell, they’d choose her.
Who choose her name???? Also will heaven or hell even learn that she exists? What would happen to her if heaven or hell kidnaps her like u said
nobody actually chose her name? when she was born beelzebub just immediately knew her name was wormwood, like it was divinely ordained or something. a bit like how adam’s name was weirdly on the nose considering that he was the antichrist.
and if/when heaven or hell capture her, well. she’s a gen z kid. she’d probably just be like “sir your vibes are disgusting” @ her kidnapper.
imagining wormwood disintegrate in holy water "like a fizzy vitamin tablet" has me shaking... mr crowley i dont feel so good...
worm: *chugging holy water in front of hastur to intimidate him* im a bad bitch you cant kill me
worm 2 hours later, experiencing the divine equivalent of lactose intolerance: i dont feel so good mister crowley
the thing is that she’s not adam; she doesn’t have the weird reality-altering powers he did that can bring about the end of the world just by thinking about it. she’s actually no more powerful than any lord of hell or highest order angel (ie: Archangel with a capital A, seraph, cherub, throne) and can’t really do anything that they can’t also do. if anything, her abilities are slightly diluted by only being half divine and half infernal, which means they’re at odds with one another - her body is constantly attacking itself in an attempt to cancel out the conflicting energies - not to mention she’s vulnerable to both angelic and demonic weaknesses (although she’s slightly less affected by them than a ‘pure’ angel or demon would be, so if you wanted to dunk her in holy water, say, you’d have to keep her in there for several minutes like one of those fizzy vitamin tablets until she disintegrated completely, or she could just regenerate), so if it came to a straight fight any angel or demon in the uppermost tiers of the heavenly and infernal hierarchies could wipe her out without significant effort on their part.
there are actually 2 ways that heaven and hell finding out about her could start a war. the first hinges on the fact that she’s literally an abomination - half angel/half humans (nephilim) and their descendants were drowned in the flood (the noah’s ark one), so a half angel/half demon child would only be even more horrifying a concept in heaven and hell’s eyes - and so heaven and hell would simply go “okay, time to clean up this mess” and, as crowley suggested might happen at the end of episode 6, join forces to pull a “heaven and hell vs. humanity”. the second way is that they might both try to gain custody of her (ie: kidnap and imprison her) and persuade, or failing that force, her to pledge her allegiance to them so that they have an upper hand on the other side by having possession of her (they don’t know what she’s capable of, after all - as far as they’re aware she could be an even bigger threat than adam), which would trigger a war since the side who didn’t have her would be like “hey, that’s not fair” and attempt to gain possession of her themselves by taking on the side who does.
tl;dr: if they find out, everyone’s fucked, not just her parents (but they’d probably be the first necks on the chopping block).
hkshdgskdhhgkhgkghgh that’s funny but i personally hc that crowley would ABSOLUTELY offer to babysit worm because a) protecting her from being found out about by heaven and/or hell means that a regular human guardian is just too risky, and if nothing else crowley likes living on earth and doesn’t want it destroyed, and hates kids getting killed, even when they’re the creepy child of your asshole boss and your husband’s asshole boss and b) i feel like he’d really warm up to her and be like, that cool gay uncle who teaches you the important lessons in life, like “it’s okay to ignore your parents sometimes” and “don’t trust cops” and “be gay cause chaos”
her name’s wormwood (which has nothing to do with my url, it’s because wormwood is the angel who heralds the apocalypse in the book of revalations) and she’s a creepy kid who likes bugs and stares a lot. also she has black hair and purple eyes which is kinda freaky. she’s a bad liar and will always try to do something if she’s told not to just because she was told she couldn’t. but she’s a decent person at heart and has no ill intentions, she’s just too young to understand how dangerous her abilities can be if misused and the significance of being half angel and half demon.
