I hope this isn't a weird ask but I think a lot of (specific thing) enthusiasts often have a favourite instance of it, so do you have a specific instance or perhaps method of decapitation?
accidental decapitation fascinates me. like you just happened to be in a position to have your head removed completely by chance. the cleaner the removal and the more random and unpredictable the circumstances the more interesting it is to me.
in terms of specific methods i gotta go with colliding with a thin bladelike obstacle such as a wire or a sheet of glass with enough force to remove the head because it’s a deeply unpleasant but highly creative and unusual death.
researching deaths caused by fireworks now and apparently one of the most common firework-related deaths is decapitation caused by looking into the mortar as the firework goes off. tragic and horrible way to die of course but another win for me, #1 death by decapitation injury enthusiast.

As if I needed more excuses to do this
Sorry for the dumb art/style/subject matter lately? It’s weirdly therapeutic, I’ll knock it off soon

Antlerlock
When deer battle with their antlers, it sometimes happens that they become locked together so hopelessly that they can’t separate. When this happens, usually both of them will die of exhaustion.
However, sometimes one dies and the other is cut free by scavenger animals. He is then forced to carry his opponent’s rotting head till his own antlers fall off in the spring.

That’s metal as fuck. Has anyone ever actually witnessed it? I’m guessing most evidence of it is via found shed antlers entangled with a skull’s.
Every now and then people will find two dead bucks stuck together, or two live deer that need rescuing. Theres a video of a man freeing a deer that’s stuck to a dead deer, and this famous photo from a few years ago of an elk carrying the head of his rival that presumably was chewed free by coyotes or wolves.
