ling looks older than the other 15-year-olds in fma so its easy for people to read his actions as those of a young adult but thats wrong. hes a 15 year old kid, who is apparently a few months younger than ed. keeping that in mind makes ling and greed’s first interaction a lot funnier because… god, imagine youre a homunculus about to take over the body of a kid whod be fresh out of middle school and hes like “i dare you to do it- i want you to do it. i want you to do it so i can get the philosopher’s stone, i’m so fucking crazy.”
