I’ve wanted to make this post since like mid season 5 and kept putting off cause I thought it was dumb but the show is now over and there are no boundaries
The idea that “Everything is FINE TMA is just a really really edgy D&D game” is secretly one of my favorite things in the world
- Jon poured as many points as he could into intelligence with strength and con as his dump stats. He also has a dice curse. He INSISTED there was no such thing no matter how many 1s he rolled and refused to change out his one (1) set of dice. Eventually Martin lent him one of his and it didn’t help at all
- The only 20 he ever rolled was getting Martin’s character out of the Lonely
- Jon and Martin are together irl and thought it would be fun if their characters hated each other and just COULD NOT keep it up
- Elias was an NPC but Peter was played by Tim’s dad who he convinced to come for a few sessions, and then kept coming even after Tim had to quit
- Tim was one of the most enthusiastic players but sadly had to leave the game when his work schedule changed. He told the DM he wanted to go out with a bang and he was like “:)”
- Sasha’s character permadied early on and next session she showed up with a new character sheet titled “Not!Sasha” and everyone just went with it
- The Admiral is someone’s real cat and whenever he jumps on the table they just roleplay like he’s a player
- Gerry is the DM and he straight up put himself into the game as a joke to infodump all his cool lore as much as possible
- feel free to add more idk what do with the girls!!
-daisy has never played a game in her life and only comes because it’s one of the few free nights she has with basira and refuses to leave her side
-melanie brought basira because basira had never played before but was really interested and wanted to try it
-melanie is a dnd lore nerd but in the sense that she goes ‘this is how one class works? what if i just,,,,, broke it :)’ and constantly bends the rules through loopholes gerry can’t help but go with and it frustrates him to no end
-georgie’s there but only because she’s the only one with a dining table big enough to hold all of them, most of the time she just sits in on sessions and does her work alongside but occasionally gerry brings her in to fuck with Jon (and it always works)
