The Kaiju are a race of amphibious creatures genetically engineered by the Precursors, a sentient race from the Anteverse. As biological weapons of warfare, Kaiju are extremely hostile and toxic creatures designed with the intention to wipe out all humankind.

Honestly I miss the energy Tumblr had when the first Pacfic Rim movie came out. Everybody was talking about who they were drift compatible with and that was like a huge compliment. Ppl were drawing Kaijus, and Jaegers, naming ‘em. It was a better time
Pacific Rim was an awesome movie, but we hadn’t considered how much of the dialogue is so well-suited for delightfully geeky valentines. That is, not until we saw these wonderful cards made by Portland, OR-based artist and illustrator Benjamin Dewey. The limited edition set of 30 cards features just about every character from the film. The Jaegers, their pilots, the scientists, even the ferocious Kaiju are feeling the love.
