I had some unexpected free time today so I decided to finish coloring this.

It’s Sauron, I drew him a long time ago (which you can see here) but I have been meaning to do a new version for a while. I like how he turned out. I like his skeleton earrings lol

I didn’t fully color everything mostly because I was just relaxing.  Anyway, hope ya like :-)

And then I thought I’d try animating something, I screwed up a bit but I thought it was fun lol I did that before I finished working on it.

I bought some new nibs and red and black ink a few days ago and finally decided to try them out. Now I think traditional ink work is my favorite medium, except maybe pencils.

You’ve probably guessed this is Sauron, though I don’t really know what he’s doing here. I just felt like having him swishing his cape around or smth.

I know I made him look a tad feminine but whatevs I have no regrets.

The deceiver

The cover that I did for @houseofmelkor‘s fantastic Dark Lords magazine featuring Sauron in his fair form when he was a high priest in Numenor and influenced the king to build a temple in Morgoth’s name and have sacrifices. (ok so the eye was a bit inaccurate T T ) I have quite a neat process for this because I was practising my greyscale to colour process so if anyone is interested in seeing it let me know?
