aight so european leaders got together to make decisions about the refugee situation and the bottom line is 1) refugees are gonna be detained outside of europe, 2) the detainment centers are actually named “kontrollierte zentren” in german which is not ominous or in incredibly bad taste at all, 3) private rescuers are gonna be charged for rescuing drowning refugees, 4) we pay countrues such as turkey or libya a lot of money to keep refugees out of europe, 5) outer european borders will be strengthened and frontex (border control) will receive more funding

so in short uhhh europe decided on killing and locking up more refugees; fun!

Sunday, July 1st: Hi guys, I’m Gemma and I’m so sorry to ask this again but, I really need your help to get groceries + supplies for next few weeks and for most of July. I’ve had to remake this post as my last one was embarrassingly long and received a lot of notes but I still desperately need help to get by.

As many of you know, I’ve been struggling these past few months because I’ve had my welfare benefits revoked under the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned and due to my mental illnesses, I had to attend a WCA/Health Assessment (evidence) and my benefit was sanctioned and reassessed. My appeal against this decision was recently denied and with no idea of when my sanction will be lifted, I have been drowning in debt because of it.

I can’t even afford to buy food/household supplies (laundry powder, dish soap, toiletries etc..) at the moment and I really need help to get these essentials.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life and, sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody has to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling. Thank you for your help 💖
