well rested for once, and well rested bones is happy bones. and happy bones is just very mellow and soft and jim loves it so much, but he’s also a little shit so he wants to tease bones ofc and bones just. straight up denies everything with a blank face. me? cuddling? are you out of your cornfed mind kid? and his denial gets more ridicilous bc this becomes like a nightly thing after they figure out positions and actually both of them sleep better together. yeah but bones still denies it (2/2)

oH MY GOD YES honestly i don’t even have much to add to this bc it’s *chef’s kiss* Perfection but i’m just imagining that jim probably loves being held but when he’s asleep he’s TERRIBLE to cuddle bc he kinda just. splays out, arms and legs spread across the entire bed like a giant starfish and bones, who is ridiculously cuddly in bed like you’d never guess if you hadn’t slept with him, finds himself either pinned to the wall by one of jim’s thighs (like,, jim is thicc af in tos and i doubt he skips leg day so im p sure his thighs are just as ripped as the rest of him) or hanging off the edge of the bed for dear life, and jim suffers for love and tries to curl up and be the little spoon so bones can get his required physical contact without facing bodily harm but he can’t really do anything about his unconscious body, so in the end bones lies down on top of jim so jim can move as much as he likes and bones can cuddle jim without being slapped in the face by his bf’s flailing arms and it’s not always comfy but it’s Good.
